Handling improved compared to what? Fourteen inch wheels? That I might believe. Compared to seventeen or eighteen inch wheels? Not a chance. When you put big honkin' wheels on a car you're putting huge gyroscopes up there at the front corners, and those suckers don't want to change direction very quickly. Said another way, the same reason why you lost two to three miles per gallon (and why your braking performance will suffer and why your brake pads will wear out so quickly) is why your handling will suffer compaired to an optimal wheel size.

I think 20's look out of place on the car 18's or maybe 19's will look better

Have you done it? I did. I replaced the narrow stock 17s with 20x8.5 and handling was a lot better, way more responsive and I didn't wear out my brakes or car with then. I put 70k miles on that car in 1.5 years with those wheels and tires on it. I expectee some mpg loss due to the added weight. People are so quick to try and tell people what is and isn't. These arent race cars.... the loss of acceleration or braking would only be noticable at a track. Its a street car. My ride quality was fine. Granted I'm not driving around some midwestern ****ty road city but I didnt slow down for railroad tracks or have to dodge little holes in the street. Just got rid of a dodge ram on 26s for a 13 accord exl v6 and I'll be putting 19s or 20s on 8g depending if I lower it or not.

Contrary to what Bamaboy1626 wrote nearly five years ago said, there is no way handling was improved; if anything, handling was extremely hampered compared to a more appropriate size such as a 17" wheel. Said another way, any improvement in handling was in his head.

Some 20" wheels will fit, some will not; depends upon the specs of the wheel and the size of the tire you put on them.

I just bought some 20" the tires are 255-45-20 are they going to fit or should i go with something smaller
