hi guyz
am in the process of negotiatin a buy a set of rims that look super cool for a cool price Problem i need confirmation that i got the riht ofset Size : Fronts: 18x8.5 Rears: 18x9.5 Pcd : 114.3 offsets : Front 32mm / Rear 37mm thanx my car = Honda accord 2007 saloon 4 dr 4 cyl |
You need to measure your original rims to determine the offset. That is the rim width divided by two minus the distance from the front of the rim to back surface that touches the hub. Need to make sure the offset is the same type: positive or negative. If you're dealing with positive offset (old rims and new) then if the new offsets are greater your wheel will sink more into the wells. So you need to measure how much room you have available with old wheels until interference and rubing, which will require spacers - that'll tell you how much you can go into the well. Best to measure and do a sketch with old and new measurements to see if it'll work for you.

The front's will stick out about an inch or so... I'd swap the front and rears and it would look good.
