Hi everyone :)

I have 99 Honda Accord I recently purchased, it's my daily driver but also a work in progress. I have a few things I want to do to the car, and new wheels would be on the list.

I live in a SMALL town, and while I know it might not be the best idea or the most loved store ever.. but discount tire is going to be MY best bet on getting wheels for my car. It's one of the only places around that I know of, and personally would rather buy new than used.

Now my issue is, I really hate the idea of having to buy new tires for the car. I've been told if I keep my stock tires on and put wheels/rims with them I'll be disappointed and hate it.

I'm having zero luck finding photos of Accords with 195/65-15 tires with aftermarket wheels on it..

So my question is do you think I'll be really disappointed or is it worth a shot? I've found some I like that are going to run me around $400 out the door. Not much at all, but I really would hate to spend $400 just to be mad and want to take them right back off. Some of my favorites have been black and gunmetal in color, but I do have my eye on a set that's chrome just nothing overly done.

If you have photos of 195/65-15 tires with aftermarket wheels feel free to post them.

I'm not opposed to buying them online, or going to another dealer in my area if one is suggested.. I just want something reasonably priced that will look nice. I love my car and want to build her up, but I also have another expensive hobby and that's showing dogs. SO I need to keep my budget in check lol. :o

For the most part 17s or 18s would look the best, but 15s can look good too.

Its really the ride height that will make it look goofy as Accords tend to have the ride height of tractors.

:\ I have no idea what to do, and I have no plans of lowering the car.

Here is a 6th gen accord with some 15in rims. Its impossible to know the actual tire size, but it'll look pretty similar. Think it might be lowered a little bit.
