Pirelli, Toyo or Goodyear

I need some help deciding what tire. I have stock rims and would like stock size. I say I am a "Spirited Highway Commuter", and I need an all season tire.
Michelin tires seem to be too pricey for my tastes, so I have narrowed it to three others. The size for my car is 205/60 16 92v

1. Pirelli P7 Cinturato All Season Plus
2. Toyo Versado LX II
3. Goodyear Eagle A/S

Last year I put the Pirelli P7s on my wife's GTI and they're a pretty good bang for the buck; they drive great, have good winter traction, great dry traction, and they're quiet. I just put a set of Michelin Primacy MXV4s on my Accord and they've utterly transformed the car compared to the crap Mastercraft tires which were on it when I bought the car. I've not had good luck with Toyo tires (they get noisy and wear out too quickly), and mixed luck with Goodyears (some were excellent, some were crap).

The problem that I have with the Michelins is that they will run $700 for a set installed. Plus the MXV tires look like they are being replaced by the Premier A/S which is even more costly, and the Primacy isn't available anymore in the 92v configuration.

Oddly enough, I bought the Michelin's for my Honda because the Pirelli's weren't available for my car. Based upon my experience on the GTI, the Pirelli's should serve you well.

FWIW, I wouldn't bother spending the extra $15 per tire for the "V" speed rating; odds of you ever even getting near the "H" speed rating are most likely between zero and nil; that and your car is most likely governed to either 118 mph or 128 mph anyway so it would be impossible for you to exceed the "H" rating.

Thanks Shipo you have great advice.
On the speed rating, no I won't be exceeding 80mph, (unless one of those semi drivers from Quebec we get around here is on my tail)
I will take your advice and get the Pirelli tires. It was really down to the Pirelli and Toyo anyway. I need to get 4 of the same tire on my car before the warm weather sets in.
I will update on the post when I have driven on them 6 weeks or so.

Well I have had the Pirelli P7 tires on the car for a few days now and I can say that they have made a VAST improvement over the mix of Hercules tires on the back and Goodyear on the front. Quiet straight and smooth.... dramatic improvement.
But, perhaps it's was not just the tires. I also had an alignment, when the tires were installed. I had it all done at the Honda Dealer.
