What to replace OEM Michelins with on 2008 Honda Accord

Hello guys I was wondering what people were replacing the OEM's with on a 2008 Honda Accord EXL. I got 56,000 out of them and I thought that was a little low especially when you have to pay around 1,000 for them. Thanks Rick

I think everyone chooses differently depending on what they want. What do YOU want?

- long lifespan?
- low price?
- awesome cornering?
- quiet & smooth?
- sharp & responsive?
- snow?

You can only pick a couple of those items, maybe 4 if you're real lucky.

long lifespan, quiet & smooth, handle wet roads. I just feel that for a grand I should have gotten more than 56,000 miles out of those tires. The tires were Michelin Pilot MXM4 225/50 R17.

I've always thought Michelins were very excellent tires at a very high price. Their MXV4 are probably more towards smooth & quiet & longer wearing.

Check out www.tirerack.com (a sponsor so I can use an active link). They've got lots of information about the different tires & reviews & etc. I've had some Dunlops that I really liked but they don't make that model anymore so I don't know what to tell you right now.
