Used EX-L 4cyl or EX-L V6, both 54K miles
 

My 98' V6 EX was totaled by a red light runner... I was in it, but thankfully survived. Now I'm debating about 2 cars that I have just seen and driven. Both are gems, a '06 Accord Sedan V6 EX loaded. and '07 EX Sedan 4 cyl. loaded. Both are well maintained, drive beautifully. I have never owned a 4 cyl. and am partial to the V6 inside and out, plus the power. The 4 cyl. rides pretty great though,I'm just not fond of the exterior red. Interior is dark grey and fine. Both are about 54,000. miles. and about $14,000-$15,000.

Anyone know what can be expected with these, for instance real gas mileage differences? This is a practical matter during these times. My driving is town and freeway. I hope to make some longer trips to southern Calif.(grapevine) and northern Calif. (mountains). Are the life of the engines equal when well maintained? Transmissions, driveshafts.. etc. Anything you could point out to me to be wary of in the 2 models and years, will be very appreciated.;)
