I have an automatic 1989 accord that wont pass smog due to functionality; The rpm's are out of tolerance. From what I have been reading it sounds like it should be running anywhere from 700 to 800 rpm when it is in park. My car is currently running at about 1100. Can anyone help me figure out how to adjust it?

IMO, this gen does have an issue with the choke unloader, but after that...further adjustments are few and far between,,,,again just my opinion.


Is the choke opening all the way once the car is warm?
