2004 A/C problem
My honda has dual climate control.. The drivers side will not blow cold air but the pax side will. every now and then the drivers side will blow a little cold but 95% of the time it wont. Any ideas of what the problem might be?

There could be two problems.
1. The a/c system has a leak and is low on its R134a charge. Have the low and high side pressures checked with a manifold (not the crappy gauge you can pick up on a can of R134a). If you have low pressure, locate and repair the leak, then recharge the system.
2. A problem with the air-mix door, motor, or input from the climate controls. That would not allow the cold air to flow to the driver's side of the car. Not sure how to test for that on your car.

2003 Accord EX 120,000 miiles, dual controls - same problem. On a 90 degree day, driver side was initially 20 degrees higher at the center vent than the passenger side. But after idling or driving an uncomfortable two to three miles, temps evened out to an ideal 20-25 degrees at both vents. I added about 4 oz 135a and viola! problem solved. Temps decline equally to ideal in less than 1/2 mile driving.
