Default LED cluster conversion now the fuel gauge not working

Hi guys, i'm doing an LED conversion for my instrument cluster, i'm kind of tired with the look of the cluster on my 99 Accord, so i pulled the cluster out and took everything apart, after i soldered all the LED lights and put the cluster together. I marked the fuel gauge level before i disassemble it, so it put it back where i had it mark but now the needle says it's empty but it should be like half way. Is there an easy way to reset the gas needle for the gauge ? Here's some pic of the unfinished cluster. ImageShack Album - 4 images

So did you have to remove the needle, is it secure to the "pin"....is the ground from the level sensor connected.....sorry, I bet you've already checked these but that is all I can really offer....

Yes i had to remove the needle, bad idea but i tried prying on it with care by using a fork and a spoon. I'll pull the cluster out again and recheck the needle.

This is a costly test nowadays, but fill up the gas tank to see if the needle moves up. You want to see if the gauge is actually working.

Why did you need to remove the needle?

I had to remove the needle to to the LED conversion, because the new light bulbs are in the back of the gauge's face. ImageShack Album - 2 images

I never owned a 6th gen accord. On my 95, I didn't have to remove the needle to take out the speedometer.

Maybe you didn't get the gauge to seat properly in the main circuit board? I'm just guessing here. I am not sure what happened.
