Default Window sprayer help

I have a 95 2.2L vtec auto.... sedan and recently my window sprayers quit working. I replaced the sprayers. All the hoses cause they were getting pretty dry rotted. And it's still not working. I've checked the fuses all is good. But I still can't hear the pump kicking on. Where do I go from here. When I hit the switch the wipers work but no spray. The resavor is full btw. Do the pumps usually go out or is there somewhere else I need to look

Since the wipers work and you don't hear the motor, the washer motor issue can be either of the following:
  • Problem with power (+) on the Blk/Yel wire coming from the wiper switch is not getting the rest of the way to the washer motor.
  • Problem with ground (-) on the Blk wire coming from Ground G301.
  • Washer motor.
If you remove the inner fender, to test the motor, you can apply direct battery power (+) tothe washer motor terminal no. 1 (where Blk/Yel wire was connected to) and body ground to the washer motor terminal no. 2.

Okay I'll test it. Just apply 12v via a wire directly from the battery. To the correct prong then once I apply a ground to the other prong it should come on . There is 3 prongs underneither the plug thou. Do I need to apply power to 2 prongs and ground to the other. And does the key need to be on? I would think not ..... if I'm going straight from the battery but I'm not sure

It looks like there are two different washer motors listed:

Honda part # 38512-SB0-J01 (Mitsuba) may either be a 2 or 3 terminal motor.
Honda part # 38512-SC4-673 (Denso) is a 2 terminal motor.

Based on the electrical circuit diagram, it looks like the harness connector to either motor may still be a 2P connector. I don't see any 3rd wire in the circuit diagram for U.S. models.

You only need to apply power (+) on the motor side where the terminal no. 1 Blk/Yel wire was plugged into, and ground (-) on the motor side where the terminal no. 2 Blk wire was plugged into. You do not need the ignition key on, as you're directly providing power and ground at the motor.

If you have a 12 volt lantern battery, 12 volt rechargeable drill battery, etc., then you could use that instead of the car's 12 volt battery. Whatever, you have on hand.
