Hey everybody total noob here. I was just wondering what kind of HID kit you guys would recommend for an 04 accord coupe? Do I want to get 5k or could I get 10 or 15? Is there some that are illegal? Wheres the best value? (I want quality just at the right price) Is it easy to do the install or would a noob like me need help? Wow, I know thats a lot of questions but even answering some of them would be a great help. Thanks in advance.

 

I would recommend either 5-8K Anything higher is a severe heat up,and a tad bit tacky.
DDM tuning dot com,has good kits,And it is easy to install,most kits are plug and play,and your done.

 

Thanks man, great help. What do you know about those halo lights? It seems like the blue led would be illegal... Have you ever seen them in person? (seems like some of those replacement housings can be pretty cheap) Anyway thanks again.

 

They are cheap and the light output isn't the greatest. If you want to go that way, TYC and Anzo are the best out there. Blue halos/angel eyes technically are illegal, but with the headlights on they won't be seen much at all.

 

What do i think about halo lights? Honestly,really really lame and useless,unless a Bimmer

 

Yeah I was on the fence about them. Think Im gonna stay away.

 

You could always do a retro with OEM projectors.....

 

^best way to g with projectors,but is more $,more effort,and better results
