Just purchased a new '06 Accord today. I opted not to get the $450 fog lights from the dealer but want the OEM kit when it's available. Does anyone know where to get the new '06 fog lights cheaper than the dealer?

 

You can buy the fog lights in kit form for about $250 at many sources like www.handaaccessories.com .

One other choice would be the new factory Honda Inspire fog lights, basically a JDM Accord. Instead of a small light in the opening it fills the bumper opening completely. I just don't like the small light in the big hole look of the Hella and US accord fogs.

 

I also have a 06 accord. Where would i get these factory honda inspired fog lights from Greg S? Im not a big fan of the small circle in a big hole opening either.

 

To be honest I'm not actually sure, possibly from Mugen, as I've seen them in pictures on their sight, or possibly from the dealer if I can find out the part number. I'm actually going to check with my brother-in-law and see if he has access to them. He's owns a car repair and sales business in Japan so I think he should be able to get them.

 

I read on one of the boards that the Mugen Inspire fog lights DO NOT fit the american spec '06 bumper openings.

 

They may not, I haven't had time to check yet as I've got most of the rest of the family out here from Japan right now, my wife's mother, father, aunt and neice. The hood is definitely different on the Inspire so it wouldn't surprise me that the bumper is as well. I'm actually thinking of importing the hodd and the whole Mugen body kit, minus wing, but that'll wait until I have more than the 650 miles I have on the car right now.
