2003 Accord Coupe EX $8000 Deal or No Deal?!
Found a 2003 Accord Coupe V6 automatic with 130k miles asking $8k.
It's got all the stock goodies except Navi.
Is it worth it? I trust your opinions more than the one gearhead friend I've got who's telling me to buy the $10k '03 Audi A4 with 140k miles on it (which doesn't say much about him)
Thanks.

I called that Kelly dude, He is one sarcastic mo fo. :P
I did check, I was asking here as a second opinion to see if the Honda Community would think the car is going to last me more than 4 years with that mileage. Although i appreciate your wit, I suppose I should have been a little more clear.

will the car last 4 more years let me check my crystal ball...
the 2003 was the first year of the 7th gen
the gen 6 autos had a terrible failure rate.
The trans was updated for the 2003 model but still had some problems.
I fear the Auto trans in the Honda so I would not buy that car. 2005+ has a higher reliability rate on the auto trans.
No one on this or any other forum will be able to tell you if the car is going to be trouble free or not.
I personally buy either brand new full warranty or old and cheap. Currently I switched to old and cheap and am very happy financially however, of course, a newer car would be nicer. A 2003 is expensive and has a lot of potential expensive repairs - IMHO
Your decision to make.

I wouldn't pay 8k for the 03 with 130k.. too many possible trans issues although the motor should be fairly solid.. If you can maybe bargain down to about 6800 or 7k, maybe not a bad purchase.. In truth, I'd stick to something a little newer even if it had more than 130k miles on it..
as far as the audi, I wouldn't buy it.. it likely won't last not because I'm against audi but because it's a fairly known thing.. the newer ones last, those don't.. common issues could include turbocharger failure, exhaust leaks, electrical problems..
