Well, when I bought my projectors, I got sylvanias for low beams and some off brand 100w $15 bulbs for high beams. The name didn't even come up when I googled them, the company is called Fareinheit or similar to it. They look good, but i'm afraid they give off too much heat for the aftermarket housing their in. So, i'm in a debate weather to go with PIAA 9000 series bulbs ($87.00) or Sylvania Ultra Bulbs ($48.88). I wanna get a good name brand for the high beams. (bulb 9005 I think) Anyone got any expierence with any of these bulbs please share any pros/cons of each. Thanx for your input!

 

are you really going to use the high beams that often? my high beams my my hids look gross but i barely ever need to use them so i didnt bother changing them. i have no experience with those bulbs but i think the sylvania work fine with a much cheaper price $87 for halogen bulbs is kinda ridiculous you know?

 

I use the Ultra bulbs on at least 3 of my cars and get good service life outa them and they are very bright!

thanx for the info, my 15$ bulbs blind my friend in the daylight in traffic, i wonder if 40$ sylvanias will do the same?

 

anyone know of a site where i can get sylvania auxillary bulbs? like for turn signals, brake lights, ect. Any online retailers? thanx

 

hey all, just installed sylvania ultra bulbs today. Very bright! Not as bright as the 100w, but very close and it won't melt the housing. Also sort of expensive $52.00 with tax and all at advance auto. thinkin about gettin the ultras for low beam. I got regular sylvania (the series below ultra) right now. Would I be able to tell the difference between the ones I have now (low beam) compared to the ultras?

 

Get the 10000k. Brillant Blue as they call it.
