Default Colored Headlight Bulbs

I know there are a million posts on headlights here but I didn't notice one about colored headlight bulbs....Does anyone know anthing about them? I saw someone with pink headlights the other day so I went online and saw that you can buy colored bulbs. But are they bright enough? Or is it better to buy that colored film stuff? Nothing could be worse than these Silverstars I have that burn out all the time. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

thanks

Most colored headlights don't produce the same amount of light as a regular bulb. Before getting ANY colored bulbs though you should look into your local laws. Most places will not allow headlights that are to far off white. Some of the blue ones are illegal in certain states..

Just a quick follow-up... some colored bulbs produce as much if not more light than a stock bulb (blueish HID's are a good example of that...) but there again there is not sense in spending a ton of cash on bulbs just to get a ticket and be forced to take them out... *L*
