Well basically im looking to change my upper lights on my dash....(you know the ones that shine down onto your needles)
To a deep red, any suggestions?
Can i just buy a film to go over the plastic that seperates the two? mind you, im looking to go the cheapest DIY way possible lol.

 

Are you talking about your needles in your instrument cluster???? U have to replace the bulbs with colored ones in order to change it. Very easy to do though.... I just did it on my 240sx

I think you need "74" bulbs to go in your cluster..... Just go to ebay and type in led 74 bulb

Most of the smaller bulbs will have a marking or printed on the bulb stating it's size.. if it doesn't, try going to a local auto parts store and see what they say?

Places like autozone can usually look it up for you, so you might be able to just call them and ask.

 

I just went to a website where they tell you the stock sizes, dont remember the site - i orded some red ones

 

I tried red bulbs once and it just turned everything a lame purple color.

 

I may have a solution for you... my brother has done his civic in blue, green and red. I will show photos, i will be doing my 02 accord very soon too..

These are LED lights.

 

How can you order from a site and not know what site it was?
