Default Daytime Running Lights

I'll try this one again...

I'd like to "freshen up" the DRLs on my '08 Accord Coupe. They just seem dull. I saw a new Civic with really bright DRLs and they looked great...exactly like what I want.

Do you all have any suggestions forbulb upgrades???

I'm talking about the bulbs themselves. I want something brighter...cooler looking...maybe with a bluish tint. But I don't want to fry anything. Just that custom look to set the car apart from others.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Where do you get these bulbs? I did a search for them, but turned up nothing. Who makes them?
Thanks

if you dont like the color of the drl's then you can get hyperwhite bulbs like PIAA or NOKYA. if you dont like the dullness of the drl's then i believe you're gonna have to mess with the wattage to make them brighter. but if done improperly, like you said, could fry/melt something.

Our day time running lights work off of the high beam lights and are only on at 80% if that. If they were on completely it would be like driving with your hi beams on and even during the day that becomes annoying and illegal. You could get a ticket for failer to dim.

kinda on the same subject how do you cut off the DRLs. I have an 06 4dr 2.4 V4 SE and the DRL's turn on automatically and i'm not sure how to turn them off. makes it difficult to do.... late night.... operations haha
