so someone decided to vandalize my dads car a couple nights ago and broke the drivers side mirror. I called the dealer today and found its around $230 for a completely new side mirror. I found a couple people parting out cars on craigslist and they're asking around $30, but all are coupes. My dads car is a 1998 accord LX sedan. I already know the rears between coupes and sedan are different but I was wondering if the side mirrors are also different? I know this is a noob question but i hope someone can help me out, Thanks!

 

The sedan and coupe mirrors are not interchangeable, they have different sized rakes on them (triangle piece that bolts on). Try rockauto.com for cheaper prices, I think they were in the $40 range last time I looked.

 

try a local junkyard? be lucky if you find one the same color as the car lol.
