i just got my pinstripe removed today. mostly is was already peeling off. and they wanted to redue it but i just thought if i had it later down the road it would flake off. i kinda miss it but i think the accord kinda looks clean cut now.

 

It looks fantastic if it's done properly, it can really make a car look amazing, but you put the wrong color/style on there and it looks like crap.... I used to pinstripe cars with my grandfather on his lot.... There were a few times when he'd buy a car at the auction, pinstripe it in the parking lot, run it back through and make a couple of grand....

 

x2 ..... color combo, placement and style make all the differance in the world. I had though about giving 3G a pair of Satin Silver stripes. The stripes have to complement the lines of the car.

 

the double pin stripe looks good with the honda logo in it...

in my mind it has to be a light pinstripe on a dark color for it to look good.. otherwise it's too hard of a contrast on my eyes... just my opinion though

 

I've pinstriped a few older honda's but no 6th or 7th gens. Yes the right color, placement, and most importantly STRAIGHTNESS will make your car look slick...

 

depends on the car. i didnt like it at first on my sedan, but i've grown to like it. it was on the car when i saw it on the lot.

 

I like the painted striping on my rides better, so therefore I voted no in the pole...

I didn't realize that we were distinguishing between painted and those cheap Autozone stripes Ang. I voted yes, but painted is the only way to go. Spaz, my friend's EP3 is a custom yellow that's a bit darker than Honda's and the stripe artist picked out an offwhite and a black stripe for his car ..... I wasn't sure about it when he told me, but it looks hot!!!

 

ive never been a fan of them. Personally I like the clean cut look better on cars.

 

To my surprise, my car was delivered with pinstripes - light gray to match the interior.
The sales rep expected me to be happy since they weren't on the invoice.

I debated having them removed but, couldn't decide. They're not hideous but, I still think the car would look better without them.

2 months later, I still can't make a decision.

Since I'm so weak, maybe I should let the results of the poll decide.
