What's up Honda enthusiasts! I'm planning to paint my 1997 Accord a flat/satin black paint scheme. It is the year in which the clear coat absolutely sucks, it's the Eucalyptus Green now but the clear coat is completely coming off. I'm also wanting to have the interior redone in order to match the new paint. I'm planning to paint the dash, door panels, and interior trim also. Has anyone done this to their Accord? Got any photos? Any advice/suggestions on the care andmaintenance tips would be greatly appreciated. -E

 

i have seen primered ones before........not my cup of tea, and wouldnt recommend doing the dash and everything as well A)cause it will look bad B)cause it will rub off.

 

I think matching ext.paint with int. paint is tacky... but each to his own. But i've seen first hand primered ones as well.

 

Flat black would make you look like a ricer, satin black on the other hand... or low gloss could make you a pimp if you did it right, like this:
