Just got my windows tinted a month ago and got the fronts tinted on my 06 accord coupe. Now i noticed lots of fine scratches on the tint. The guys at the tint shop told me that the new accords and TL's have this problem when sand and fine dust get stuck in the door jam since its a different material now like rubber and it has the stuff stick to it. Does anyone else have this problem?

 

It's common. The guides(?) for the power windows are a hard material and replacing them with softer material is the only answer.

Is there an easy way to do this? Does this include the 03-05's? I would like to have my windows tinted, but not if its going to look bad after a little bit.

 

I just got mine tinted on an 04 and I haven't had this problem, that I've noticed, but it's still somewhat early for me. I do know a buddy with an 03 that hasn't had this problem so hopefully just the 06's

 

All 7th gens do it, some worse than others. It's taken a while but mine is noticable......barely.

 

dont tint is what i do then no problems
