Default Getting HID lights

I just have a couple of quick questions. Im going to get me some HID lights from DDM and was wanting to know what the difference in the apexcone raptor kit and the slim kit. Is it worth the money to get 55w vs 35w. And will I need anything else to install other than what comes with the kit. "I've heard people talk about needing relay" Thanks

I've only ever ordered the apexcone kit. One of my ballasts just burnt out(approximately 2 years after installing the kit). Other than that I haven't had any issues though.

I would stick with 35w, I have 55w in my foglights and it is insane bright, other drivers and law enforcement officials probably wouldnt take a liking to them.

I didnt need anything else to install them.

I just ordered the slim 55w 8000k kit and I think I should change it to the 35w since they will be my low beam don't want to get in trouble. How would I go about changing it before they ship them. thanks

35w HID kit is bright enough, 55w is too bright you going to end up blinding other drivers especially if you don't have projectors headlights. It's not necessary to get a relay harness, but it'll help prevent your stock wiring/harness from getting destroyed.

Are the bulbs interchangeable with differrent ballasts? because I bought the 8k 55w and 3k 35w Can I change the bulbs around? Since I see that 8k 55w will be too bright what you guys are saying.

All of my PIAA lights that I have are 3800K yellow, and It was hard for me to get used to them at night. They almost play tricks on your eyes, but I found they are the best for fog snow, and rain.

The honda accord install should be just a simple plug n play kit i dont think you will need the relay harness, at least I didnt need one when i installed mine just directly plugged it in through the factory harness it was easier than i thought I got mine from hidnation.com nd love em.
