Wow the prices really do vary a lot. I know of three shops right off the bat that do window tints locally so I'll just have to see what the deal is with all three.

Unfortunately, tints in the front driver/passenger and windshield is illegal in MD.

I dunno if I want to get the rear windows tinted...but then again, it would be considerably cheaper...

Thats so lame. I dont understand why front tint would be illegal. At least make 50% legal, thats not even dark. Its the *****, I tell you.

I paid about 220 bucks for my 5% tint in MD. Dr. Tint is the name of the place that did it, they did an exceptional job too needless to say. I love it, especially when I'm freaking driving in FL and the sun is just beating down on my car. It gets ridiculous, so much that when I had the air conditioning on it wouldn't even matter cause I didn't have ANY tint. But unfortunaltely the cops in Virginia keep pulling me over cause it's "illegal" apparently [sm=boosign.gif]. I haven't gotten a ticket yet probably cause I'm registered in FL, I don't know all the rules but that's probably why. Anyway, for me the tint is worth it (even though I have to roll the windows down sometimes to see at night ). But it all depends on the area that you live in, just look around and see the competitors, then see who does a better job quality wise. And remember, they should tell you after they do it but DO NOT ROLL YOUR WINDOWS DOWN for a couple of days after getting your tint!!! All that money will probably go to waste if you do. Good luck.

I found a place in town that uses quality tint, lifetime warranty will do my 4 door Accord for $120. Had to make an appointment for almost a month out, lol. I'm kinda surprised I haven't heard of this guy before now with him being that booked, siad he's been here for like 17 yrs, its a small place tucked back off the road, you would never know it was there, lol! I can wait a month and save $120 over the "popular" tint place in town!
