it can be done but it slightly comprimises the structural integrity of the body, it allows a little bit more body roll than normal. Some people have made them into converitables

is there anything that can be done to fix this integrity issue or is it just gonna be that way?

Well you would have to support the areas involving the A,B, and C pillars because it no longer can rely on the roof at all. Wouldn't suggest taking any REAL sharp turns unless you did... can it be fixed?... probably... expensive... just bend over and say ow..

I bet if you slapped a roll cage in there it would fix the structutral integrity issues. it wouldn't be pretty though

you could compensate some with a heavy mid-body brace (would have to be custom) and chasis reinforcement including a custom X-brace. You'd also need a good suspension and swaybars. even then, your car's rigidity would still be a bit weaker than expected, but the car would handle better than stock.

A roll cage that was built properly would completely compensate for the lack of roof.

Key word in there: PROPERLY

But, your accord would have an ugly roll cage, taking away the appeal of a convertible

Viper, don't take this personally please, this is for the entire forum.

[size=4]Thread titles like "Got a question", "Help please", "What do you think" and "What's next" are totally useless!!!! This thread would benefit more from a USEFUL title like "T-Top, possible?" or "Targa accord?" or "Roof modifications". There are so many of the same useless titles on here that I have trouble remembering which conversation is from what thread because of this. Let's see some better titles poeple!!!!
