I've a set of aftermarket projectors, now about two years old, with the halo rings. Honestly, if I could go back on my decision I'd go with the TYC projectors. I bought it from slickcar.com, pretty decent place to buy it from. Here's the link to TYC, they should've the black housed ones too, look around..

the ones I've are still in good condition although one of the LED's on the rings went out. the rings aren't worth the effort of wiring them up and making sure they work..

As far as the smoking, you can always do that yourself, fairly simple. I'm just saying TYC because they've the best sealing on headlights and the best projector quality. Let me know if you need help with the wiring or anything else.
