I tried the Sylvania Headlight Restoration Kit on my 02 Accord Coupe. The lenses were really cloudy and yellowed. After much hand-buffing with the included sandpapers and polish, it took the yellow out, and cleared them up some. But in the end I was disappointed with the results. They didn't look anything like new. The light output was still poor.

So I decided to just buy replacement headlight assemblies from Amazon. They are TYC brand. They only cost me about $45 ea! Sounded too good to be true. But I checked them out. The quality looks to be as good as OEM at first glance. I guess time will tell...

To install, I had to remove the bumper. It wasn't too hard, just took some patience. To remove each headlight, there is one fastener on top, three hidden behind the bumper. They fit fine and look like new, because they are. The lights are nice and bright again. They really dress up the appearance of my Accord.

the front bumper doesn't have to come off. The bolts are accessible with a swivel plus extension and a small 10mm. you may need to take a plastic cover off and the grill, but no need to drop the bumper...however that makes it easier and it only takes 2 bolts to take them off anyway!

I bought a set for $115 at my locally owned import shop w/ side marker lights...so if you mess something up it won't be too expensive to just replace.

the only problem with wet sanding is that you lose all the uv protection and wat ever else is on the headlight that protects it
so if you do go with the wet sanding route make sure you use a good sealer/uv protector and for a safe bet slap on a layer of laminx or something like that other wise the headlights will turn yellow quick
