i assume since they work i plugged them in right, my problem is mountin them here is where i have them




i assume that black little box shouldnt be hangning, maybe some people with 7th gens take help me out, as to where to put them and such thanks.

i assume i could screw these somewhere since they have holes..

I have mine Zip tied,rather than drilled,for easy accessibility.

Same concept on every car.

they came with zipties but doesnt the ballast get hot?

The black box can hang, the ballast itself should be ziptied or screwed somewhere... I haven't found a sheet metal screw that small yet and I don't want to screw anything into my engine bay.

Yes,but thats besides the point.You want to have the ballast stationary.Judging by the pics,you may be better off drilling a hole.That may not be the case in any other Gen.

Right, right. Alec, that double sided tape is going to unstick within a month and you'll find the ballast hanging one day. Finding a place to ziptie can be tough, so be creative.

I got some really heavy duty double sided tape from home depot, and I cleaned where i stuck the ballast with lacquer thinner, the ballasts haven't budged and they been there for 6 months now.

I used souble sided tape in the GTO and they are still stuck.
For the Honda, I used the zip ties for both sides and they should be fine. On the pass side, I could not directly zip the ballast so I zipped near the ballast on both sides which should be ok.
