It allows you to keep the function of the headlight switch while fully powering the HIDs and not burn out the switch.

using HID in improperly designed housing = pissed off on coming traffic and you can get ticketed and possibly towed if the cop wants to be a dick aboutsince itis illegal in most states to modify the safety equipment in cars...

I have HID lights and I think they are great and the housings were designed for them with proper cut off and beam placement

Argh...I'm debating whether to go HID w/ my 7th gen. I have to see a couple of pictures first though.

get a set of HID projectors made for your car from a quality supplier. that cheap stuff is crap man......

For the record, had the HIDs in for about it month now and have only gotten flashed once. My lights don't even creep past the rear window from a good distance back on most cars. It's more about what housing you put them in, I'd say 6th gen housings are fine, but the majority of them will suck for HID.

As for relay wiring, that diagram is exactly how I did mine except I used two relay and two inline fuses.

I cant find it know of course but when I was searching for HID's I found a site that had a ton of cars in which they put HID kits in OEM housings and most had pics. Then they listed hot spots and how bad the glare was. They had my gen of Accord so maybe they will have yours.
