Default HID ISSUE

Just purchased a kit for my 05 accord install and everything went perfect took 10minutes. I got the kit from xenonlink.com well i've noticed that the light seems to get brighter at moments but it takes a minute or two. So it's like a very faint flick. It happens whether i drive the car any amount of time and i've gone over all connections numerous times. Is it required to get the relay harness, can it be possible that it's not getting enough power?

I have the HID's for 3 of my cars, a Grand Prix, and Astro Van, and an 04 Accord EX. All of mine do the same thing, after being on for a few minutes they blink twice then they are fine. As far as them getting brighter thats because they have to warm up basically like flourescent bulbs and as they heat up they will get brighter.

NO. they shouldnt. they should brighten up for 5-10 secs. after turning them on. dont turn them on and off on and off, not good for the ballsts.

it sounds like you have a bad ballast or igniter ...... which are in the same box.

Can it be possible I just have to worst luck and just keep getting bad bulbs. Because one of the orginial ones I bought with the kit works perfectly fine and I've switched ballasts and they have no issue with that bulb. Don't know whether or not it's relevent or not but it always have a the problem on the driver side.

That crossed my mind but the only thing is that I have the harness installed where it only gets a signal to turn on from the stock harness otherwise it's directly wired to the battery with a relay harness. Can I just have bad luck?

check your wiring for your stock harness, i had the same issue with just one bulb going out. it turned out to be the wiring of the orginal harness. where did you mount your ballast at?
