8500K isnt too too bad, 12000k is just straight up purple with very little out poot, 8500k might not even be purple, it might just be blue.

EDIT:8500k is not purple ish,1200K is.

My honest opinion on them is that they are ugly, tacky, and quite frankly feminine for a guy.
But on a lighter note,you already purchased them,so..as far as brightness,the lower the K,the bright i.e. 4500K=bright

And for what they will look like on your car,you should you tube it.

oh really?..because it had like a drop down box to choose diff colors...it had blue...purple..yellow...and green...and it said 8500k 9006 low beams euro dezigns...it was about $20 total price...so i jumped on it..in the store theyre slightly higher...i just dont want to get some lights that look very crappy because i had some xenon lights that had a very very blue bulb but were more of an aqua blue than a deep blue...

yea my point exactly...it was on this website...so...i jumped on em as quick as possible....now note....this is only the bulbs...NOT INCLUDING HOUSING....just the bulbs but other than that...yes..20..thats why i got em so quick...they should be here tomorrow...so...honestly i hope i made a good choice..really im not worried about brightness bcuz i have two other sets of lights...i have those blue ones i just told you about and some silverstar ones...the silverstars are very very bright white so im using those now...i jus wants some for looks and kinda for brightness

Oh so you can pretty much discard the fact that your getting "hids",when you are in fact getting regular bulbs, that say "HID" and tinted Purple.

A full HID kit can and should run you less than $160 depending on your provider or what not.

I realized that when he said 8500k and purple, lol. No such thing as 8,500k, and 8,000k is light blue, 10,000k is dark blue, 12,000k and up is purple. I don't get the purple or even the deep blue. But I don't understand why there so popular. Would people like pink headlights too if they are expensive? Oh and those bulbs arn't going to look any more purple, blue, white or whatever than the halogens you have now.
