So I had a 98 Accord which was solver and had 21% tint. The front looked lighter when the sun came in the windshield so it didn't look that dark.

Now I have a 01 Accord and its black and I'm wondering if 21% will look too dark on the darler paint. Should I go lighter to avoid suspicion?

Any thoughts?

32% is the current law and with the silver it looked much lighter than it was so I'm wondering if on the black car would be pushing it.

 

depends if your cops are dicks or not locally. law here is 35 and i did 20. in 2 yrs i only got a warning about it cause i had been pulled over for speeding. really dont think youd get pulled over just for tint, unless its limo stuff. but it is totally up to you on whether you want to push the law or confine to it.
