Hey everyone, has anyone had success in painting the interior trim pieces (around the console) in your car? What paint would you use? How would you prep the pieces? I have a '01, the panels are that smooth metallic-ish-gray that I think all or most of the cars of the 98-02 gen have.

If not painting the console/door trim, what about a good led/neon setup for lighting? Please give me some suggestions on what to do for a cooler interior, without shelling out a ton of cash! Thanks!

 

Look for some sort of spray paint for plastic pieces. Like outdoor furniture type paint (unless you really do have the metal trim). I'd prep it with an undercoating or primer of some sort then do two coats of the paint that you want. Follow the can's directions for prep instructions.
