i dont know wtf section to put this in, so here goes. i got pulled over yesterday by some faggoty CHP. ive known for a while that these guys ll pull you over for things city cops wont. so, he gets on my ***, throws the lights AND siren, and tells me to pull over on the speaker. i had NO IDEA why he was pulling me over. hahaha. so he comes to the window, and tells me whats up. he makes me pop the hood, sees the headers, intake, and lots of colors and shiny stuff. lol. again. he starts pointing stuff out, "this is not legal, neither is this". i convince him otherwise, whether its true or not, and i show him some CARB exempt stickers. so he says hes gonna write me up for front window tint, "too loud, but not illegal exhaust", and no front plate. he said he flagged me down for not signaling a lane change. WHAT THE F***!. this guy sucks. i try to politely argue, to get myself out of a correctable ticket that i cannot correct easily. i tell him, honestly, i HAVE NOT touched the front window "tint", only limo on the back 3. and then he gives me this total crap about how if you get in an accident, manufact. tint or not, "if its film tint", itll wrap around your head if you crash and smother you. not even an idiot would buy this story. i go home, throw the front plate on, throw the silencer in, which makes my skunk2 system REALLY quiet, and go down to get those 2 citations signed off. i get ANOTHER gay CHP guy, and he signs off the plate, tells me to rev the engine. im not worried, its quiet. he says its loud and wont sign it off. jackass. i tell him its well below the legal 93 db limit in CA. he says "i dont care at all, make your stupid tune car stock and ill sign it off". i explained that i cant make it any quieter,and this dumbass suggetsed that i take the "aftermarket, ricy" muffler off and THAT will make it quieter. jackass. who would think that? and about the tint, none of the CHPs will sign off until its totally removed, even tho i have a docs note in my car, since i have very light sensitive contact lenses. total crap. what do you guys think about this? any of u in CA have any similar probs?

anyway all i can say is that from the stories ive heard, cops on the westcoast must be ******** as prerequisite before getting a badge. then again if the laws themselves are that strict, maybe Arnold wasn't a good vote. jk i know its been like that for a while b4 he got there. half the cop cars around hear sound like *** due to rusted out pipes haha.

damn that blows what a jagoff cop. i got pulled over for my exhaust once(silencer was out) 70 buck ticket. when i went to court the whole courtroom was filled with people whohad the same ticket i had. Illegal/loud exhaust. Silencers do make it sound legal, those cops were just being jags, hope you don't have to swap your exhaust.

 

I'd contact an attorney and see what they say. I'm not a sue happy person but I do believe in fair trade. They want to be a pain then you offer to do the same. If the attorney feels it's a good case then I'd hit them for harrassment.

 

Awhile back I lived in Memphis, TN, and guys were getting those tickets like crazy. There were attorneys that could fix those problems for about $50. As in DISMISSED. Look for a lawyer and pay him, not the system.
