New radiator
Is this worth putting more money into? IE: body kit and paint? Or should I get a newer generation.Thanks for the input

 

I would get a gen 7 because they would generally have lower miles traveled and you wouldn't be worrying about replacing anything

 

what would you rather drive? what's your budget? what's your time worth?

Those are the three questions to answer. If you can easily afford it and want to drive it, do it. If you can somewhat afford it, but your time is very valuable and you dont want to spend a lot of time fixing a broken car, then it may be worth it. if you can barely afford it, the answer is no.

 

lets just say that the gen 5 is paid for. I work at wendy's making less than 10g a year. You can consider my budget limited. I guess i'll stick with the same car.

I would stick with what you have. With all that maintenance you listed, that thing will be good for a long long time. The body will probably wear out before the engine does. I plan on putting at least 250k on my 2000 LX (unless I get a lot of raises at work in the next few years!) I'm almost at 119k right now.
