Default key scratch

I have a 2002 Accord SE fire engine red as you can see by my avatar. Someone keyed the car, going entirely around it. Fortunately, it doesn't look as if it went too deep. any suggestions

Hi, feel bad for you because that happend to my friends celica (02) and they dont really look pretty after the scratch.. But she fixed it up with paint pen which she bought a hardware store.. you could try that but the mark still eventually shows but not as bad as the scratch.

Here's a idea for you,, go to say PepBoys or AutoZone and get yourself a bottle of the red turtle wax with the aforementioned paint stick, I had good use with the product with a gray mercury we tried it on..

Good Idea[sm=smiley32.gif]
Try it and let me know !

If its not deep like just into the clear, you can get it buffed out at a body shop. They will prolly wet sand and/or use a high speed buffer to smooth it out.

How much did that cost?

I have a key scratch on my boot but I dont think that it is very deep. I might use polish or one of those sticks to fix it.
