Hey all, so i got the v6 series accord 97.. i know the front end is like 7cm or something stupid like that wider.. i have had no luck to find a nice lip kit for the front bumper.. anyone know we you could like .. custom fit one.. i was thinking if you bough one you could cut in half and then put liek 7 cm of oem lip or w.e in there and then melt it back together sand and paint.... i know, a little ghetto and jerry rigged but i am out of ideas... dont hate on me i admit it is tacky but if done right why not?? anyone ever found one for v6? any other ideas

 

hmmm............I never heard it was wider..........I just knew it was longer, I think the bumpers may be the same......let me look into it some more.

 

yeah i am pretty sure they are wider... cuz hoods, and bumpers are different... i guess that could be due to length though.... i was pretty sure they were wider, will have to open up manual for both but i think it was different,

 

yeah they bumpers are different, so I dont know as if the lips would be interchangeable, find a friend with a 4cyl and find out lol.

No I have not seen any lips for the v6, although I dont know of too many people with them. It wouldnt be all too hard to add a little to the center possibly with fiber glass if you know your way around it.

Did you look at the mugen lip kits? They have some nice ones and I know they have them for your car. Not sure if the v6 really matters though.

 

I believe the bumper is slightly different, but not enough to make a difference with a lip kit. The mugen lip is sex.
