Default Looking for upper grille recommendations - 96' accord coupe

Whats up everyone. Im lookin for some recommendations on an upper grille setup. I like the type r mesh look but am not sure of a place ta order one of good quality. I recently ordered one from 360tuners.com but its goin back. It was such a cheap knock off it wasnt even funny. The fit was horrible.

So does anyone got a good place ta order an upper grille from that sells good quality parts. TASauto maybe? Thanks in advance.

A cheap alternative is to get a grill off a 94-95 Accord. They look clean and don't have the emblem on them. I believe they are $10 or something brand new from the factory.

Other that most people prefer to get the Japanese grills like mugen and aztec. The only real place to get these on ebay and expect to pay $300 or so.

I got one off of ebay, and it doesn't look that bad, and it was a good fit. I just put the accord decal on mine.

Yeah a 94-95 will fit just fine. 94-97 accords are the same except the taillights and the front bumper. The bumpers are interchangeable, just not the same.

See that's what I thought about the 94 - 97 accords. Someone told me some of the body dimensions were different. (i.e.: trunk width) Yeah I think I'll have ta look into that. The one I got in the mail was a joke. Thanks guys.

I totally understand you when you say the type r looks out of place and fitment is bad. I test fitted one at a meet, it was horrible lol. I especially hate how the top of the grill caves in and there's a huge gap between the hood and grill.

If anyone has a type R grill they would like to modify to make it look better, they should remove the mesh completely for a cleaner look, as well as cutting the top part off and lastly, colormatching the grill with your car. not sure about fitment after that though.

I'm rocking the '94 grill on my '97, looked so much cleaner AND luckily it was the same color as my car, so I didn't have to paint it.

Other legit grills, like Mugen or a Mugen replica are expensive..go for over $100.
