Default LX 2001 Headlight Lenses starting to cloud

Hello.

My Accord LX 2001 headlight lenses are starting to cloud on the top. Is there any solution to bring them back to clear?

Please advise

Thanks

My tail lights used to fog up. I drilled several small holes in the bottom of the light to let air in and that solved it.

Hello.

Thanks for the responses.

The headlights do not fog. They are not "yellowish" (sun damage) either, the "cloud" is on the top part of the lens.

Weathered headlights from road salt and age appear to peel and flake. Headlights with a bad seal will generate moisture on the inside. They are easy to tell apart, which one is it?

For weathered lights, mask off around the light with masking tape and use a plastic polish like PlastX with a buffer to retuurn them to clear.

For moisture, remove the bulbs from the lights and allow them to circulate air in and dry out, then make sure the rubber gasket around the bulb is in good condition. Silicone grease on that wouldn't hurt either.

Hello.

The "cloudiness" does not come from moisture. When touch the lenses, I can feel the roughness in the outside surface.

Thanks

enatal, some times they do get moisture in them as some of the guys stated and yes like mine they do get a bit blurry. from road debris and stuff.

Try getting some plastic compound and bufing it out. if not headlights are very cheap on ebay.
