is there any ways i can make my headlights black? i heard someone said something about painting them ang putting them i an oven? is it true? if it is, how do u do it and is it possible to do it to the taillights also??

 

Either use a light tint (it will chip and need replaced periodically) or go to walmart and get some "smoke" paint and you can just spray paint them, more layers makes it more dark.... They make paint specifically for this application...automotive section

 

What you are refering to is baking. Its a long process and some what difficult if you don't know what you are doing. You hace to seperate the clear lense from the headlight and paint the housing black and bake it basically to make the paint more durable and solid. You have to be careful b/c you can crack the housing or lense in the process. Honestly, just get the ebay special headlights that are black. They are oem style but with a black housing. I bought mine from there and actually have two sets. One set I tinted yellow for the JDM look and the others I kept black. They run anywhere from $75-$100 shipped, sometimes cheaper.
