I'm always thinking about getting 3000k in my brights, I live on the water and it gets really foggy when it gets cold. 3000k are supposed to cut through the fog the best right, or is that just some BS I've heard?

Not exactly cut, but yellow is the best color for depth perception and contrast. That's why anything above 4300K HIDs you lose depth as you go up, something about the blue rods in our eyes not being able to process it correctly.

OEM fogs are too expensive and the aftermarket ones look like crap. The fog isn't very common, just wanted an excuse to get some HID highs lol. I've been thinking about making some LED fogs from the stock fog light cover and put plexi over it. I've already cut a piece of plexi to fit over it to see how it would look, and it actualy looks pretty good. But I don't know, I guess I don't care enough to actually do it.

yeah, in that 3rd pic, it does look pretty high, haha.

i thought once about putting 3000k (yellow) bulbs in my highbeams.. so it'd kinda looked lke the jdm itr front end. =) i seen it on 6th gen in a pic, idk if anyone here has done it?

ps. i ordered some 6000k hid kit from ddmtuning last night, i'm so anxious to get them =)
