this is my first post...just bought a 2010 ACCORD SEDAN EX-L V6...I am looking for new RIMS because the stock r just UGLY...I need all the info u can throw at me...my car is Black with Black interior...so I will be looking for either chrome or alloy w/some black...do not want to go above 1 grand...can someone push me in the right direction? 17 inch rims.

Also..can I put 18 inch tires on this car...I see some of you have...but when u change diameters..u have to reset the computer by the dealer because the speedometer reading is incorrect. Has anyone done this at the dealer?

 

look at Rota rims...they are really nice and have lot's of diff. styles

 

thank u for your suggestion but their rims were not suited for my taste...Do any members have pictures of their aftermarket rims on a 2008-10 Honda Accord Sedan?

 

so what are you lookin for? Like bling bling rims? Then no Rota is not for you... they make some sick race style rimes and such. Have you looked at all the diff. styles??...there are like 200 diff. styles they make.

 

Hey I happen to have the same car as you and I have put many different rims on my accord. After about 4 different aftermarket rims i have decided on Black and red rims they go very good with the black on the car and if you were to put any such things on the car such as cold air intake or new seats or even getting dark tints the red lip will stand out. To check them out type into any major search engine MR117. They are 17 inch and they look very nice they are also about 600 for the set. Also if you need let me know and ill post a picture up if your still not sure about them

 

I want to thank both of you for answering my thread...I am conservative but I do like this car to have a rich appearance (I know it is a Honda)...please post your black rims with the red rim...this way it will not be in the abstract...I know this is the Honda Forum...but here is a pic of my Saturn SKY....I have chrome wheels with Vogue tires. I always believed white wall tires makes a car so much more attractive...eventually, I hope to put them on my Accord but rims r needed...I just want to inform both of you that I have put on the chrome pillars inorder to make the side consistant with the chrome handles and door trim...and to make it consistent throughout, I will need some chrome rims with black trim...

 

Just to keep those interested in this choice of rim...I am 99% sure I will be going with the FOOSE SPEED rim...found this great place in Jersey and had a selection in his store that suited my particular need...and money pocket.

 

try tirerack.com they often have a nice clearance sale on rims. On tire rack they also have a program in which you can see how the rims would look on your car. you can also try craigslist just make sure that you inspect them well and make sure that the bolt pattern fits your car.
