sorry to start a new thread on my topic, but it would not let me reply to the old one, anyways as for the ebay halos, definatly happy with them, upgrade in light output and looks, halos not as bright as i would like, but still nice , more pics at my car domain http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3100436

 

yeah they look pretty cool... was thinkin of gettin some... just wasn't sure about the price.

 

well mine were only 112.50 shipped from ebay, they got here super quick via fedex from california to florida was like 4 days, definatly happy, maybe one day i'll bust em open to upgrade the leds on the halos to make them brighter, but for now i am happy as they are, i get compliments every time i ride out on fri and sat night.

 

Yeah man they do look nice. I want some with the black housing. I have a 02 Accord SE. It may be a dumb question but do you have buy the HID kit to get the halo headlights to work?

 

no, they come wired and ready to go, i also got the black housing ones.

 

Last question... So those are projector headlights with LED angel eye correct? I just want to be sure of the correct term when I purchase some. Lastly do all of the LED angel come in the white or can you find some with a blue or green, etc. LED color? And thanks for letting me know they are good to go with no HID kit that keeps alot of money in the pocket...lol...Thanks.

 

yes mine are " dual halo led angel eye projectors" i've only seen them in white, maybe you can find some in another color, of course you can always open them up and put in any color led you want to run the halos, of course red or blue might be illegal but i don't know, if you go the ebay route like i did i just did a search for "96 accord black projectors" the company i bought from was something like "ace****" can't remember the full ebay name but i know it started with ace, if you want them company name let me know and i'll look it up

 

OK...you have been a great help. I just haven't been explaining it in detail.
1. I understand the dual halo(angel eyes)...that means your getting two LED rings in the headlight...right?
2. So when you installed them you used your regular bulb and regular high beam bulb that was already on your Honda...right? That's why you don't need an HID KIT...right?
3. The projector is not a bulb, but how it emits the light of your bulb you already have...right?
4. The only thing you did was wire the halos(angel eyes) to your parking/turning signal...right?

Sorry for the multiple questions it was just hard to find "simplified" answers on the internet.
