This might be a stupid question but is it possible to have small areas of the car painted just to remove paint chip rust spots and other small areas without having the whole hood/panel/door painted and will it look somewhat acceptable or really bad. It is an older car so not worth putting out hundreds of $$$. All the paint shops say it can't be done but......who knows. Welcome any input from those who have been there, done that.
