I've further'd my research and saw that there are two kinds of bases for paints, enamel and urethane..
By my guess, urethane paint is probably better... but what would you think?
Also what did you mean by dryer as a tool?

As far as paints go, you want something acrylic. Try to stay away from laquer.

A"dryer" = An in line air supply dryer. It filters out the moisture and any oils from your air supply.

So, I'm back again
I finally got the chance to do some research on some paint and stuff
I'm not sure if it's a reliable site or not, but for the clear coat,paint, and primer I'm thinking about ordering at paintforcars.com [I'm not sure if I should be advertising]
for the sanding blocks I'm pretty sure that I can find them at a nearby Sears
I already have a compressor... Most likely I'm pretty sure that I will invest in a HPLV spray gun...
Not sure what else I would need, but I'm pretty confident I have everything else...

The guy who I had paint my car was going to a community college for auto repair. This meant he got a big discount whenever he bought paint at the local Sherwinn Williams.

So if you want to save $100 or more, I would say find a kid taking a course and assuming local paint places give discounts, give him a $20 for having him buy it for you.

I've never heard of that site, but it looks pretty good. Really cheap prices on acryllic enamel! That's what I'd go with.

Also, if you already have a compressor, get yourself a Dual Action sander!!!!!!!! Trust me, you will thank me later!

Hey, its me again, i was wondering if you strip the car to bare metal or if it was alright ot just strip the color off and leave some of the primer

unless you are doing some rust work, or replacing panels, i wouldnt recommend taking it all down to bare metal...Sand down all the clear, and into or past the color then start from step 1 of sanding, priming, sanding, ect...
