Default Projector Lights

I am purchasing my first set of HID's for my '91 Accord in August and I figured that to get the most out of them I should also buy projector headlights. Does anyone with more experience than myself have any suggestions on which name brand to go with?

Did you purchase true HID conversion? Or just the simulated HID bulbs?

True HID conversion kit, so I am investing a fair bit of money into it.

You will need a hid kit with a h3 bulb and 9006 (or what ever you stock harness is) wire harness for the ballast. Pretty simple, when I was shopping around everone said that won't be a problem.

Hey guys...TRUE HID are what you mean by OEM HIDs...They run anywhere from $1000 to $2000 for the ones on the lexus, beemers, benz, audi, etc. They will not be less unless they are USED. Non-OEM HID "KITS" are just fine. McCulloch ...honestly because of some complications people been having with them while trying to replace the bulbs. Go with Philips or Hella or ANY Japanese/Korean Made Kits. Those will be your top choice. I have used one of the Korean Kits and they work Excellent. Compared to OEMs...they are even BETTER. The reason is...some KITs are not legal due to its major glare....more than OEM so if you use it on Projector, its gonna be BETTER than those on the BMWs...IFFFFFF you use OEM projectors. There's the big "IF" and if you wonder why, check my other recent posts...The more glare you get from your HID, the better it is for your Projector Headlights...

Thanks Retro...however, I will not buy JDMs for sure. I heard that they suck big time. Koreans? Are you for real? I know nothing about their quality but they just look cheap for me.

I just install mcculloch conversion kit in my accord 06. After reading several posts, is it even possible to buy the projector housing make for the hids. Thanks.
