Default Replacement headlight bulbs for 2002 Accord

Newbie question....I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for replacing my stock headlight bulbs on a 2002 Accord. I looked around and halogen bulbs are inexpensive, but are they any better than stock?
What about HID? Are they worth the price? and are they easy to install?

any help is appreciated.

Stock bulbs are halogen. HIR bulbs are technically "better halogens", but the base needs to be modified to fit into the wiring connector. HIDs are better too, but some will say there is glare and others won't. DDM Tuning makes a great kit with a lifetime warranty for under $100, be sure to purchase the relay harness as well. On a 2002, fairly easy to install, almost plug and play, just run the wires around the engine bay.

And the Sylvania Silverstars are a joke, don't waste you're money.

Tell me about it. I bought a set less than a year ago after one of my headlights went out. One of them has already blown out. Lasted less than a year and cost $50.00.

They are brighter than my stock ones were though.

Thanks for the info. I ended up buying some Philips Xtreme power bulbs online for about $50..Easy to intall.
They are much whiter and quite a bit brighter than stock.
I'm sure HID would be brighter, but with my bright lights on, I got plenty of light.
