For anyone looking to get cross bars for the new shape honda accord fitted with roof rails this bit of info may help. I had a look at the honda versions along with all the aftermarket types as I was after the 'aero' or 'wing' type bars. I found a company called Whispbar who do a set at £150 but no-one had them in stock.

I was then out washing my car when I noticed my neighbours Volco V50 which had aero cross bars fitted. I thought the dimensions were very similar so I measured them and almost exactly the same size distance between the bars with a similar shape rail. I spoke to him and he quickly put them on my car and they were a perfect fit.

I now have a pair I purchased from Volvo for £135 which is cheaper than most and look really good (as far as roof bars go!).
