I just joined this forum and don't know if this is the right area. I bought a 2010 Nighthawk Black Accord Coupe EXL v6, 6 speed w/NAV and was wondering if anyone knew if you can replace the small lip spoiler with larger Honda wing spoiler. Do the holes in the small lip spoiler match up ( with some more holes in larger) Honda spoiler part# 08F13-TE0-140. The dealer kept telling me the only original Honda spoiler that came with 2010 was the small lip spoiler but I found the part number (see above part#). I don't want to fill in old holes and start over. thanks in advance

 

as far as i know, the small lip spoiler is not screwed in, its just held on with really strong double sided tape. At least thats how the after market lip spoilers are held on. just look on the inside of your trunk and see if you can see in screws coming through the sheet metal under the spoiler. if there aren't any then its double sided tape and you could just rip it off and probably will have to give that area of the trunk a good rub down to get ride of any left over residue or blemishes. Contact your honda tech at the dealer to make sure.
