Default Sunvisors

I owned a 99 V6 for years, and recently bought an 05 Hybrid. Love the car, but just noticed that the sunvisors don't have the extension panel that my 99 had, allowing the sunvisor to be effectively longer. As it is, there's a significant amount of the front windshield and side windows that doesn't get shaded, and the sun's a factor when driving to work in the morning.

Does anyone else consider this a problem, or have any solution?

Thanks in advance for suggestions.

You could always get an "eyebrow" done with tint across the very top of the windshield. Odd that yours doesn't have the extensions, my lowly '04 EX does.

Might be another one of those "weight-saving" things they did on the hybrid. Thanks for the tip, though. I'll look at other 05/06 EXs and see if they're still there. If not, might just buy replacements from 04 EX like yours.

Looks like none of the 05's have the visor extension. Strange. Anybody know if an 04 sunvisor will fit an 05 car?

Since it's still a 7th generation I can't see them changing the bolt holes for your model.

Hi there jlilly,
I have an '06, and the visors actually extend from the j-arm that attaches them to the roof of the car...just unlock the visor from it's clip and pull sideways. I'm not sure about the previous models, but they're in the same family, so... maybe this will be the case - hope this helps. If not, maybe sunglasses?
