guys what is the percentage for tint and how does it work?
i mean like how much percent is dark like very dark that is illegal?
and also how much does it cost

 

the lower the percent the darker the tint... 0% is you cant see anything... the percent is how much percent of light comes throught the tint.... if you look in my gallery you can see what 20% looks like... it cost me 200 bucks... supposedly thats alot but they look really nice and i am definilty satisfied... depends where you go.. look for the best price and best quality... and then the legality issue.. it depends on where you live and what the laws or ordinaces are where you live... in Illinois the ordinance is you can have watever percent you want on the back windows... but on the front windows and the windshield you cant have any percent... but as you can see.. where i live the cops arent so stubborn so i can drive around wit all around tint and not get bothered.... yet... lol

Lol I have 15% tints all the way around and I still haven't been pulled over. Maybe I'm just lucky, but I usually like to roll down my windows if it's not too hot outside. I love hearing the sound of my exhaust down the freeway, especially in tunnels or under expressways.

 

This is off topic but as for the window thing I'm the same way..... I have a problem with using my A/C, it just drives me nuts how much it kills my economy and bogs my engine a bit so I refuse to use it *L*

 

Same here! The a/c kills my power! Not that I have that much to start with!*LOL*

 

Same here! Every once and awhile, when im speeding up to 55mph if I have the AC on, I turn it off and it feels like I just sprayed NAWZ!
